Test

I used to write a lot when I was a student. I would write, travel, think, dream, write. I had so much time and so many blank notebooks, so many pens to bleed ink to the end, so many musings about people, about life, about Japan. And then… I joined the real world and started working. Suddenly all my time was spend writing for work, and that was writing other people’s words (the act of translation) or speaking other people’s words (the act of interpreting). Somewhere along the way, I lost my own voice.

Now I’m 28 and my notebooks are filled with to-do lists. That’s why I’ve decided to go back to my starting point and write for the sake of writing.

This blog will be an avenue for my musings about language, about Japan, about English, about anything.
